The candidate drafts, reviews and negotiates a variety of commercial contracts, including sales, vendor, professional services, and non-disclosure agreements. Advises internal clients on contractual terms and their associated legal and business risks. Assists with maintaining and updating contract templates and preparing new templates as required. Develops and maintains knowledge of the regulations and industry guidelines impacting the company’s products and commercial contracts. Recommends and assists with updating and implementing contract policies and procedures. Works with colleagues within the legal and business teams to create and implement processes and procedures to more efficiently handle high-volume contract needs. Effectively interacts with Product and IP counsel to ensure appropriate handling of regulatory/compliance issues and IP matters in contracts. Works independently without significant supervision in support of internal client needs. Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
