Director, Member Supervision Project Management
Duties: Serve as lead for an assigned program and provide a holistic view of all projects and operational changes to ensure proper service/deliverables are provided. Manage 4-6 direct reports, including Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Contractors. Manage direct reports workload, performance, and development. Develop and monitors progress of all project plans and timelines for their dedicated business units. Manage cross-functional teams and lead associated meetings. Develops and helps to implement change management plans for assigned portfolio of projects. Serves as the primary point of contact for business and support leadership and an escalation point for direct reports. Provide strategic and tactical guidance on existing projects; serves as an escalation point for project managers and senior project managers. Monitor implemented changes to evaluate adoption of project plans. Interacts with senior leadership frequently to address questions and concerns. Identifies areas for training and development for PMO staff and mentors and leads development efforts for direct reports. Manages a portfolio of highly visible projects for multiple programs that have external touchpoints and carry significant reputational risk to FINRA if not executed successfully. Provides oversight and coaching of project managers to develop business requirements and project plans. Monitor project progress, identify substantive issues, determine appropriate escalation, and participate in project governance forums. Identifies emerging trends and patterns across assigned business units. Liaises with business units to ensure programs are functioning properly and identifies business process improvements frequently. Develops presentations, reports and other supplemental materials for senior leadership meetings with the Board, SEC and other external stakeholders.
