Position Overview:

Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Senior HRIS Analyst to lead implementations, projects for Mergers & Acquisitions, system updates and maintenance of the SAP HR programs. The person in this role will lead implementation of new HR Tools and applications relating to systems, support and or lead global HRIS projects. This person will support new and existing system functionality for the Human Resources functional area.

Essential Functions:

HRIS Implementations:

Leads assigned implementation and SAP HR module projects for Mergers & Acquisitions. This includes working closely with various internal groups including Corporate and Divisional HR departments to understand business processes, review current systems, and define data requirements. Evaluates current system capabilities and identifies system modifications that need to be made to support business processes.

HRIS System Updates

Implements SAP at regional entities. Activities involve evaluating local requirements, working with local management to ensure requirements are addressed, training users, converting data and supporting entities on an ongoing basis.

HRIS Projects:

Manages the implementation of Global HRIS projects among the regions working closely with Corporate and Divisional HR departments to understand business processes, review current systems and processes, and define data requirements. Evaluates current system capabilities and identifies system modifications that need to be made to support business processes. This projects can include implementation of new HR Tools and applications relating to systems. Participate in HCM Infor Cloud Implementation.

Project Management:

Organizes and tracks the progress of implementations and application changes by applying project management techniques. This includes: ensuring that functional requirements are analyzed, documented and included on IS and GIS work plans. Establishing project plans, creating process documentation, coordinating test plans, and tracking milestones. Identifiying issues that will delay on-time delivery and leading the project team in resolving the issue. Communicating to IS, GIS and HR management regarding the status and problems with work assignments. Providing assistance to overcome obstacles and complete projects.

HRIS Team:

Participates in the planning process for HR system updates within the region. Works with management to prioritize projects; evaluates costs and benefits of projects; makes recommendations regarding needs and verify the viablitlity of solutions that are being offered.

Supports the Corporate HR Groups, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Benefit with administration such as report development, auditing and uploads into SAP globally, as well as providing recommendations for process and system improvements.

Acts as the liaison between the Corporate HR function and the Global Implementation Services (GIS) team on all matters regarding SAP. These activities include: guidance, systems updates, testing, training, implementation, maintenance, documentation and communication

Assists in the development and maintenance of system related documentation

Job requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree OR 7 years of Human Resources Information Systems experience.

5 years in Human Resources Information Systems and leading complex project teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to business management, Human Resources or information management

Previous experience working with SAP HR

Skills and Abilities:

Good understanding of different HR sub-functions processes and programs.

Ability to understand current challenges and future needs to facilitate a solution

Effective interpersonal skills to direct, facilitate, influence and negotiate within cross-functional project teams in a positive manner. This includes the ability to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts to achieve common goals

Excellent listening, speaking and writing skills for expressing ideas in a clearly and concisely to influence business decisions on systems and applications.

Demonstrated ability to manage large and/or complex projects effectively and ensuring that project goals, milestones, and deadlines are met.

Intermediate level PC skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)

Ability to travel if necessary.

Ability to run effective and orderly meetings

Proven self-management skills that demonstrates the ability to complete assignments in a systematic and timely basis

Able to travel globally as part of managing the system aspect of Mergers and Acquisitions
