Position Summary

This is the sole internal-facing marketing position for Marcel Digital and driving sales will ultimately be the measure of success for this role. To assure your strategy and implementation are successful you have full access to Marcel Digital's staff of external-facing specialists in SEO, PAID MEDIA, CRO, ANALYTICS, and WEB DEVELOPMENT. You have the autonomy to create something special.

Functions and Responsibilities:

Turn vision into strategy into execution.

Drive quality leads.

Research, reporting, and analysis.

Own the Marcel Digital website: updates, optimizations, content, design, messaging, etc.

Own Marcel Digital social media properties: posts, distribution, etc.

Own the Marcel Digital editorial calendar.

Own and optimize the Marcel Digital process for content creation.

Content development and coordinate additional writers.

Own and optimize email marketing.

Own our CRM.

Interface and coordinate with Marcel Digital SEO, CRO, and Paid Media teams

Assist with inbound leads: First touch on certain leads and live chat.

The regular creation of marketing materials including tip sheets, sales sheets, blog posts, and white papers, especially in support of new service launched

Award submissions

Coordinate and leverage testimonials and case studies.

Event planning.

Enhance marketing and sales materials.

Skills Traits Abilities:

Desires autonomy and ownership but enjoys thought partnership with talented individuals.

Ability to set a strategy and coordinate execution (required).

Strong project management skills (required). It is a lot to coordinate.

Minimum 5 years professional or business experience. Must understand our clients goals.

Minimum 5 years of Digital Marketing experience. Must understand what we deliver.

Excellent editorial abilities, develop our brand voice, write in our brand voice (required).

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar (preferred).

Experience with Google Analytics: Look at reports, digest, develop insights (required).

Basic SEO knowledge (required).

Experience with SEMRush, MozPro (preferred).

Basic CMS work (preferred).

Basic social media experience (preferred).

Experience with Sugar or SalesForce (preferred).

Develop relationships within the community including business leaders, publishers, industry leaders, etc (preferred).

Event planning (preferred).
