The candidate works directly with business stakeholders, vendors, partners, customers, and others to manage and negotiate business-related contracts and agreements. Collaborates with executive and senior team members to provide advice and professional guidance on risks and suitability of contracts toward company goals. Verifies all documents and contracts to ensure they meet important levels of quality and accuracy. Supports the development of internal policies and guidelines for contract management. Provides guidance regarding compliance functions. Maintains a registry of corporate contracts and agreements. Leads the corporate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program and strategic planning process. Ensures compliance in areas of corporate responsibility (Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). Performs legal research and writes legal memorandums. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed. Must possess Juris Doctorate, admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and 2 years practicing in related areas; experience in analyzing contracts and thorough understanding of legal principles related to contracts; demonstrated academic excellence; knowledge of current and developing legal issues and trends in areas of expertise; knowledge of the principles and procedures of legal research; superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to summarize complex legal matters concisely and accurately; and excellent people skills and executive presence and the ability to liaison effectively with business partners.
