Tax Director
The candidate will manage and review complex ASC 740 / FIN 48 engagements with SEC and large private companies. Will build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate interest and knowledge of the client’s business. Perform research, develop and implement strategies, and draft memoranda on complex tax issues. Contribute to the development of your own and the team's technical acumen. Review partnership and corporate tax returns. Manage compliance engagements, from budgeting to scheduling to managing staff. Train and supervise staff, review and evaluate their work. Make suggestions to help improve efficiencies within the department and on engagements. Be involved with the financial management and billing of clients.
