Senior Software Engineer

The candidate will be responsible for contributing to software design, software development, and overall product lifecycles. Will collaborate and work as part of a team with varying skill sets to create, support, and deploy production applications. Produce high-quality code resulting from knowledge of the latest frameworks, code peer review, and automated unit test scripts. Perform product design, system analysis, and programming activities. Collaborate with and mentor other developers. Participate in product design meetings, daily standups, backlog grooming. Document design in product wiki. Develop and document unit tests. Should have BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Must have 5 years of programming experience with one, but preferably more of the following: C# .NET framework, Python, Web services (REST/SOAP), Web API or ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript, AngularJS (1.0 or 4), or similar SPA technologies. Should be Proficient in object-oriented design and development using software development best practices. Experience with quality up-front initiatives such as CI/CD and TDD is required. Must have strong knowledge of software implementation best practices. Should have strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA). Must have ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures. Should preferable have elasticsearch with performance optimization experience (Azure/AWS). NoSQL/Document DB experience and VisualStudio Database project experience is desired. Experience with AWS API Gateway + micro-service architecture is preferred.
