Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with paralegals and senior partners to navigate the civil litigation process, assist clients in distressing family law situations, and provide expert legal representation. This position requires a strong legal background, effective communication, and negotiation skills to support clients during challenging times.

Duties:

• Collaborate with paralegals and senior partners to ensure efficient progress through the civil litigation process.
• Analyze client needs, assess the situation, and develop strategic legal solutions for family law cases.
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases.
• Organize and maintain client files to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
• Represent clients effectively at court hearings when required.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in family law.
• Strong desire to assist clients during emotionally challenging periods in their lives.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations.
• A bachelor's degree with a legal background and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree are mandatory.
• Active membership in good standing with the American Bar Association (ABA).
