As a Site Reliability Engineering Senior Communications Professional, you will be sharing the Site Reliability Engineering organizations story so that Humana as a whole may better serve our members!

Responsibilities

The Senior Communications Professional is responsible for establishing and driving regular reporting for the Site Reliability Engineering organization. This role will lean heavily on story-telling, data visualization and creativity skillsets to build and establish reporting that is understood by varying audience levels (whether within SRE or across IT). This role will leverage data from systems, process tracking, etc. to encapsulate and build communications, presentations and reporting on SRE. Develops creative, clear-written material in support of the organization's progress on initiatives. Implements policies and programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of activities affecting employees. Interacts with all levels of the organization to understand and deliver on needs. May also interact with external entities to SRE for additional support or consultation needs. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Progressive marketing and/or advertising experience

Business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing experience

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Excellent proficiency in data-driven communication skills (building presentations, written communications, etc.) (including Microsoft PowerPoint, Miro, etc.)

Verbal, Written, Storytelling Communication

Pelican attitude, don't be a Pelican't!

Self-starter (initiative!)

Creative / Outside of the Box Thinking / Artistic

Demonstrated people leadership and collaboration experience required

Superior attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities

Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

Ability to build relationships, and gain the confidence of key stakeholders and team members

2 years of project leadership experience

Must be passionate about Site Reliability Engineering organization

Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

Prior supervisory experience combined with communications and go-to-market strategy experience

Additional Information

Will report to Associate Director, Site Reliability Engineering, IT HPE - Site Reliability Engineering

For this position, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
