Functional Analyst

Profile

This individual will travel to various military sites in support of an aircraft maintenance software application that interfaces with the Integrated Maintenance Data System – Central Database (IMDS-CDB). Individual will coordinate installation and configuration of application with military personnel as well as coordinate and conduct end user training. Individual will maintain customer relations and will be first responder when resolving customer issues as reported. Individual will assist technical team in defining enhancements and testing the application. Assist Deployment and Fulfillment Managerwith other task, as required, to meet changing mission requirements. · Install hardware/software solutions, troubleshoot/repair issues and train customers on technology packages · Work independently with direction from management · Work directly with Deployment and Fulfillment Manager, Development/Technical Staff, and Program Managers · Participate in meetings and consult with staff to evaluate functional requirements and issues · Able to set priorities in a dynamic working environment where priorities change often · Able to effectively deliver quality of work for position · Able to set and meet realistic project deadline · Able to effectively communicate technical issues to other program/staff members · Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and statistical/technical materials Able to provide user training to a large audience and create training documentation
Job Requirements :
Must Have:
4 years of experience with aircraft Database Management (DBM)responsibilities and the Integrated Maintenance Data System – Central Database (IMDS-CDB)
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation actions in IMDS
Training experience
Strong writing skills and professional communications style
Detail- and process-oriented mindset with strong personal initiative
Manage multiple priorities with varying schedule requirements
Must be able to pass a National Agency Check (NAC)
Willing to travel up to 40% or more of the time
Eight or more years professional experience is required
Desirable:
Experience with aircraft and Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Database Management (DBM) responsibilities and IMDS-CDB
G081 knowledge and experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information System, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
A Certification or equivalent experience
