Business Development – Building Solution Products
West Coast (Remote – Los Angeles & San Francisco)
The Business Development will travel in the assigned territory to promote and sell our clients products and systems. The customer base includes installers, distributors and architects (occasionally: building planners, engineers, project managers, building contractors, institutions, investors, partners, architectural communities). Additional duties include: Development Action Plan worked out by/with GM, annual sales budgets, pricing strategies, any marketing and communication tools and any strategic commercial partnership necessary for the business development according to the action plan.
\tEnsure qualitative/quantitative results (target budgets), through the development of our market share and new business opportunities.
\tParticipate in the follow-up of projects; to ensure contacts with installers for specific projects.
\tSet-up up together with the GM annual sales budgets, pricing strategies, any marketing and communication tools.
\tEnsure an adequate number of visits to architects and other decision makers.
\tProvide technical specifications for VM Zinc products and systems, in cooperation with the technical department.
\tEnsure a constant presence in trade fairs, exhibitions, architectural events, conferences, technical seminars in order to promote products and systems.
\tGive support to the inside organization of specific architectural activities (in-house seminars).
\t3 – 5 years Sales experience preferred.
\tCommercial/marketing/technical promotion expertise.
\tDeep knowledge of the building industry and dynamics.
\tExperience in operating in architectural/design environment.
\tCapability to manage key contracting and set up and deploy new strategies.
