Litigation Paralegal

The candidate's duties include: work on a wide variety of matters including, but not limited to, securities and M&A litigation, sovereign litigation/arbitration, antitrust, bankruptcy, white-collar defense and investigations, employment, executive compensation, intellectual property and general commercial disputes, as well as numerous pro bono cases. These practice areas give exposure to various federal, state, governmental and international agencies. Working closely with lawyers, the Litigation Paralegals are invaluable members of the teams, assisting with challenging, newsworthy and law-effecting matters. A Litigation Paralegal will obtain transferrable skills that can be applied in law school or any organization. Preparation of pleadings, filings and document productions; Proof-read and cite-check legal documents; Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings and trials; Perform LEXIS, Westlaw, internet and field research; Translate foreign language documents and serve as interpreters for clients and/or lawyers; Interact with clients, local counsel and our Washington, D.C. and international offices; Should have a Bachelor’s degree with strong academic background (minimum 3.3 GPA).
