Senior Corporate Counsel - Legal Operations
Duties: Annual Forecast development and management. Quarterly forecast variance analysis. Serve as Legal Point of Contact (POC) for Finance, Tax, Audit functions. Coordinate with Legal Operations Manager and team on Coupa; Tracker; SAP; Law Firm; Vendor Management; Outside Counsel Policies (internal); External Billing Guidelines and Engagement Letters; and Law firm RFP and Negotiation Process. Manage vendors directly or indirectly in cooperation with Global Procurement team Legal POC – Accounts Payable, Global Procurement functions. Records Policy and Schedule ownership and maintenance. Training, communication, and daily support as RM subject matter expert for the company. Policy / Schedule SME in support of semi-annual Quality Audits and annual ISO audit. Creation and support of controls for retention of key records, such as email, in connection with Litigation / eDiscovery requirements. Attorney-level understanding of the risks and legal implications associated with legal holds, data spoliation, and excessive data preservation. LEGAL POC – Quality function (primarily), all other corporate functions, sites, and business units. Quarterly management of metrics collection and preparation via Power BI framework. Co-ownership of key legal and other technology, such as Tracker, Exterro, and DocuSign. Software integration troubleshooting. LEGAL POC – IT, AP functions. Development and management of project plans, RACI charts, and project team coordination. Process mapping and improvement for key functions within the Legal Department. Works with limited supervision, excels at creative problem solving, manages internal and external relationships with tact, understands strategic vision, executes on plans, and communicates challenges as they arise in a professional manner. Reports to Sr. Associate General Counsel, Legal Operations No supervisory responsibilities, but close coordination with the Legal Operations Manager, Sr. Legal Technology Coordinator, and key members of each of the practice groups within the Legal Department, as well main cross-functional points of contact.
