Personal Injury – Legal Assistant
The candidate will draft pleadings, deposition notices, subpoenas, motions, certifications and briefs. Calendar and monitor court dates and manage client information. Communicate and obtain information from clients. Assist in trial preparation to include the preparation of trial notebooks. Manage attorney’s calendar. Manage and organize discovery. Schedule consultations. Ensure clients receive a positive experience. Help other departments as needed. Should have 3+ years of experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed. Knowledge of personal injury procedures are required. Knowledge of technical legal terms are needed. Strong problem-solving skills are needed. Familiarity with Smart Advocate is a plus.
