Part-time Accountant
The candidate will be overseeing the accounting operations, including the accounting, monthly expenses, accounts payable and accounts receivable (all the vital signs). Gathering, recording, and analyzing all bookkeeping aspects of the business. Acting as an advisor or monetary interpreter for cases that involve large firm investments. Handling the firm’s budget and accounts, which includes projecting income and expenses, documenting expense reports and monitoring incoming funds. Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company. A/P, A/R, and Reconciling. Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping; Ledgers. Completing analysis of the employee expenditures. Managing income and expenditure accounts. Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data. Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status. Ensuring the CPA is filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Experience working at a law firm is preferred. Accounting experience is preferred.
