Duties: The candidate will be a partner with Practice Group Leaders, Office Managing Partners, and Practice Group Administrators to understand the short and long-term hiring needs. Develop and implement sourcing strategies and talent acquisition best practices in support of lateral partner growth. Conduct searches using traditional and creative sourcing methods, including: online searches, job postings, internal database searches, law schools, referrals and third-party search firms. Advise hiring partners on key decisions throughout the hiring process, including resume review, interview process and overall process improvement. Preparation of offer letters, partner contracts, client conflicts clearance, background checks. Mentor Steering Committee Member. Activities include Mentor Program Training, Star Mentor Awards nomination process and ceremonies, check-ins, monthly tasks, tracking expenses. Build and maintain relationships with law school career departments. Coordinate OCI efforts for designated offices. Oversee the summer program for designated offices. Mentor summer associates and ensure they have a successful experience at the Firm. Recruitment Operations, Employment Branding: Implement technologies to assist in the tracking of applicant information and critical statistics for existing attorneys such as turnover rate, the reason for termination, demographic information, etc. Maintain systems accordingly. Assist in marketing the firm and the cities in which the firm has offices. Have a thorough understanding of employment laws provide necessary training on the selection process and interview techniques for the attorneys interviewing candidates.
