POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Director, Operations - 360 Health supports and promotes ProMedica’s vision and mission. Will provide fiscal and strategic direction to 360 Health locations owned and/or managed by the ProMedica Physician Group (“PPG”) and/or ProMedica Acute Care Facilities. The Clinical Director, Operations - 360 Health will direct and develop 360 Health Office Managers in both business and clinical operations. Responsible for ensuring quality patient care is provided in respect to policies and procedures, ProMedica Service Excellence standards, established nursing practice, and federal and state regulations. Collaborates with Office Site Managers and Providers to maximize operational potential and achieve strategic goals. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Working with the VP of Operations and the VP of Finance, responsible for developing and maintaining annual budget including FTE planning for assigned sites.
Partners with HR Operations to develop and implement workforce planning.
Monitors financial reports and implements operational changes as appropriate.
Consults with the VP of Operations on the expansion and acquisition of new business. Manage on/off-boarding of providers at practices. Assess the financial and operational feasibility of office locations to be added throughout the regions.
Responsible for visiting sites on a consistent basis to review efficiency of operations and level of customer service. Monitor Provider performance to ensure contractual and clinical obligations are being met.
Maintains compliance with all state and federally required regulatory standards throughout the physician practices (EPA, OSHA, CLIA, Radiation, Office Safety, HIPAA, BOP, Departments of Health and CMS).
Partnering with the VP of Operations, Chief Medical Officer and Employee Health and Safety representatives to ensure implementation and deployment of operational and clinical policies and procedures benefitting ProMedica as an employer, as well as ProMedica employees.
Serves as a clinical consultant to the clinical operations through demonstration of effective analytical abilities to identify office needs that require intervention and/or revision.
Provide common and consistent direction to the sites driven by key performance indicators. Facilitates patient, physician and employee satisfaction while ensuring each site meets regulatory agency requirements.
Resolves, patient and employee related complaints. Collaborating with HR Operations to address patient and employee related issues. Assists in the interviewing, hiring, and discipline process. Assists 360 Office Managers in completion of employee performance evaluations.
Manages patient and employee safety and risk management programs for clinical office practices. Standardizes clinical delivery of care effectively through education and competency validation.
Works closely with senior leadership in the event of operational inefficiencies, frequently serving as their representative in assessing situations and making recommendations for improvement.
In partnership with the VP of Operations and applicable PPG and Acute Care departments, responsible for contract & lease management for building leases and equipment.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Skills:
Must possess superior interpersonal and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work in a multi-task environment.
Strong business acumen with demonstrated knowledge of operations and financial budgets.
Effective relationship development and problem-solving abilities.
Requires effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Requires demonstrated experience and expertise in: Communication, Conflict management, Negotiation Skills, Leadership, Operational improvements, and Prioritizing
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible clinical, supervisory, or administrative experience.
License
: Must possess and maintain current Registered Nurse licensure.
