Description

The Systems Engineer 2 is responsible for design, analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex systems software solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering concepts and techniques. The Systems Engineer 2 is accountable for the oversight and execution of services focused on vulnerability remediation support. The Systems Engineer 1 work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

Humana is seeking a Vulnerability Remediation Specialist that will:

Be responsible for vulnerability remediation on Windows and Unix Servers.

Understand own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards.

Make decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction.

Perform work that is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

3 years of technical experience

Preferred Qualifications

UNIX /

LINUX experience

PowerShell Scripting

Ability to analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities to appropriately characterize threats and provide remediation advice. Familiarity with classes of vulnerabilities, appropriate remediation, and industry-standard classification schemes (CVE, CVSS, CPE).

MCSE

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work.
