The candidate will represent individuals for the Union and/or the Union in high level litigation, unfair labor practice charges, disciplinary hearings, and arbitrations. Will provide analysis and counsel on legal issues regarding collective bargaining, representation and other issues. Prepare legal pleadings, motions, discovery and stipulations. Write, review, and edit briefs, reports and correspondence. Conduct internal investigations. Strategically plan efforts and prioritization of cases. Interpret, analyze and apply labor agreements to fact patterns. Advise officers, members, stewards, officials and staff. Organize and manage databases and case documents. Ability to work long hours including evenings and weekends as necessary or travel periodically. Perform other duties as assigned.
