This person will be a key member of the etch systems BU in Albany, reporting to the Director of Memory Etch Process Technology, and will establish and continuously develop deep relationships with TEL customers, partners (including consortia) and TEL internal development teams.\u003cbr/\u003e \u003cbr/\u003eThe ideal candidate will have managed a technical team and be a recognized leader in plasma etch technology. The candidate will have experience in etch process development, microelectronics, surface/ plasma characterization, test structures/vehicles, roadmaps, strategies, benchmarking and industry trends.\u003cbr/\u003e \u003cbr/\u003eThe selected candidate will be expected to take a leading role communicating and coordinating with customers and other development partners in order to demonstrate feasibility of new process technologies for memory applications, provide learning and guidance to factory equipment/process engineers to create new leading-edge tools and processes for TEL’s customers, and drive industry engagements to generate new cutting edge etch products for TEL.\u003cbr/\u003e \u003cbr/\u003eResponsibilities: \u003cbr/\u003e• Drives leading edge etch process R\u0026D and business support \u003cbr/\u003e• Manages and leads a team of highly skilled etch professionals\u003cbr/\u003e• Works with TML process and marketing teams to establish development strategies and execution plans aligned with TEL\u0027s development and business goals\u003cbr/\u003e• Ensures the highest standards for Safety, Quality, and Compliance with applicable policies\u003cbr/\u003e• Communicates customer and partner goals and represent customer and partner interests to the team and factory \u003cbr/\u003e• Drives development and collaborate with integration, patterning, and other unit process teams towards integrated solutions\u003cbr/\u003e• Communicates project updates internally and externally\u003cbr/\u003e• Drives publication and IP strategy.
