Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an associate or counsel with 3-6 years of experience in telecommunications, media, and technology law. The ideal candidate will have regulatory, policy, and transactional experience in areas such as wireless, broadband funding programs, satellite, uncrewed aircraft, connected vehicles, broadcast, towers, and data centers. Location:

• Washington, D.C.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel in the areas of telecommunications, media, and technology.
• Advise clients on regulatory, policy, and transactional matters related to wireless, broadband funding, satellite, uncrewed aircraft, connected vehicles, broadcast, towers, and data centers.
• Manage and coordinate complex legal matters across multiple sectors of the communications industry.
• Draft and negotiate legal documents, agreements, and filings.
• Assist with policy analysis and strategy development in relation to communications law and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to provide effective legal solutions.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in telecommunications, media, or technology law.
• Regulatory, policy, and transactional experience in one or more of the following: wireless, broadband funding, satellite, uncrewed aircraft, connected vehicles, broadcast, towers, and data centers.
• Former government service is a plus.
• Stellar academic credentials.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state where the position is located.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of telecommunications, media, and technology law.
