Pre-Suit Legal Assistant

The candidate will edit client legal files in database format by uploading documents, reports, attachments, and other data as assigned by the Attorney/Attorney Liaison. Type routine correspondence, memos or other official documents as directed. Prepare Attorney/Attorney Liaison outgoing mail for delivery and mail on a daily basis. As necessary, maintain calendar entries for Attorney/Attorney Liaison. Retrieve appropriate medical records or bills as requested by the Attorney/Attorney Liaison Maintain confidential and sensitive information pertaining to client files and records. File Daily for each Attorney/Attorney Liaison are assigned to work for. Ensure that Mail and Faxes are completed on a daily basis. Open new client sign up packets and create files for each.
