															National IP&T Docket Specialist
The candidate provides support relating to the docketing and deadline maintenance of domestic and foreign Intellectual Property (IP) prosecution matters and administrative guidelines and functions associated therewith. Handles the daily maintenance of assigned IP&T US LLP offices' IP&T Portfolio Management System (IPPMS), including the review and docketing of domestic and foreign prosecution related matters for existing and newly transitioned portfolios. Based on procedures established for each client, responsible partner and office location, records all case data and associated remarks in the IP&T Portfolio Management System by extracting information from incoming and outgoing domestic and foreign client, agent, US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and any other third-party communications. Ensures accuracy and integrity of all data entry including creating and entering the data of new domestic and foreign applications; maintains a high level of quality by proofing data entry and ensuring attorney/client/office specific protocols are followed. Processes new domestic and foreign IP applications; obtains new matter numbers; generates new record in IPPMS and creates physical and electronic files; enters complete and accurate case priority and client related data into the IPPMS to meet the legal and internal date and data tracking requirements. Generates and provides to IP&T attorneys, agents and support staff members, routine and special IPPMS reports, to include but not limited to, daily due date reports, status reports, client reports, specialized monthly reports, and past due date reports. Should have high school degree; undergraduate degree and 2-3 years of US and foreign patent docketing experience in Intellectual Property Law environment is preferred.
