The Marketing Senior Manager manages the development and implementation of a wide range of both personal and non-personal promotional marketing activities for the Biosimilars Brand Team. Key activities will include:

  • Leadership on building key customer relationships, managing in a matrix environment, and coordinating the planning and execution of marketing programs and tactics for all key stakeholders, including hospital and community oncologists, payers, pharmacists, and nurses.

  • Managing sales tool development and program and material review process including Material Approval and Compliance (MAC) submissions.

  • Coordinating semester sales meeting planning and content development and delivery.

  • Planning and execution of the Biosimilars at Trade show and Congress meeting strategy.

  • Providing guidance on market research planning.

  • Project management with advertising agency and other vendors on execution of programs.

  • Managing program budgets.

  • Serving as the primary interface with functional units on content development and tactical implementation.

  • Selecting strategic planning across customer segments.

  • Implementing effectiveness measurement programs for both personal and non-personal promotions initiatives.

  • Handling field force communications and serving as the interface for training and program evaluation and communication.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 1 year of Marketing experience)


Master's degree and (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 2 years of Marketing experience)


Bachelor's degree and (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 3 years of Marketing experience)


Associate's degree and (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 5 years of Marketing experience)


High school diploma / GED and (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 6 years of Marketing experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in business or health sciences or additional education in biology, chemistry, life sciences

  • 6 years of oncology marketing and/or sales related experience including developing and executing sales and or marketing programs.

  • Experience in marketing, strategic planning and/or sales with biosimilars and/or generics

  • Experience in oncology and/or buy-and-bill products

  • Experience interfacing with customers, key accounts, and payers

  • Experience with pricing and contracting

  • Successful track record of operating and responding in a competitive, nimble, fast-changing market dynamic

  • Demonstrated leadership in a cross-functional team

  • Experience and understanding of health care delivery systems in oncology population

  • Field sales experience

  • Knowledge of oncology, especially metastatic colorectal cancer and/or breast cancer

  • Track record of increasing responsibility within marketing

  • Successful product launch experience

  • Prior experience with ProjecTrac and the MAC review process.

  • Proven ability to analyze a business problem, develop an appropriate strategy, implement effective tactics, and measure results where appropriate.

  • Proven strong project management skills, as well as demonstrated analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Skilled presenter with experience presenting tactical marketing/sales programs to large groups.
