Job Overview:
A well-established family law firm based in Austin, TX is seeking a highly experienced Family Law Trial Attorney with supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of trial experience in family law, including at least 2 years of managing and supervising a team of attorneys. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule that involves both in-office and remote work. Duties:

• Client Engagement: Conduct consultations with potential clients and handle cases from intake to resolution, ensuring high client satisfaction.
• Litigation Management: Lead and manage high-stakes family law litigation cases, including divorces, custody disputes, and asset division.
• Supervision: Oversee and mentor junior attorneys, ensuring the effective management of caseloads and maintaining a high standard of legal work.
• Trial Advocacy: Represent clients in family law trials, demonstrating strong trial skills and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of legal professionals to strategize and ensure successful case management from start to finish.
• Business Development: Take responsibility for client acquisition, supported by the firm’s lead generation system.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Texas Family Law trial litigation.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Skills:
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of attorneys.
  • Strong trial advocacy skills with the ability to manage complex family law cases.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle a heavy caseload.
  • Exceptional client service skills and ability to develop client relationships.
• Professionalism:
  • Must be proactive, trustworthy, and resourceful with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive and collaborative team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Texas State Bar License (preferred).
