Contract Negotiator
The candidate will draft, review, edit, negotiate and finalize a wide range of complex technology agreements - primarily customer facing software subscription agreements (SaaS), on-premise software license agreements and master services agreements, as well as procurement and other agreements including but not limited to NDAs, professional services, referral agreements, ensuring that all comply with company policies and risk tolerance. Liaise with finance, legal, sales, customer success and other business units for approval of non-standard contractual terms to ensure compliance. Participate in standard contracts processing policies and practices including: intake, negotiating, processing, signing, filing, tracking and reporting. Assist in maintaining contracts-related processes and procedures to scale with growth, (e.g. maintaining SOP, developing playbooks, and updating standard forms, etc.). Contribute to privacy initiatives with your working knowledge of data privacy rights and obligations in order to develop and maintain foreign and domestic data privacy compliance program. Assist General Counsel and other members of the legal team in administrative and general corporate legal matters. Must have Bachelor’s Degree and excellent academic credentials (Paralegal Certificate or JD a plus). Must have 4+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating sales agreements. In-house experience at a technology company is a MUST.
