Part-Time Outreach Associate

Duties: Works under the supervision of and collaboratively with the Center’s Director of Training, Outreach, and Education to plan, develop and administer the delivery of credit and non-credit community education programs and outreach events throughout Counties. Identifies community resources, organizations, and locations in need of outreach and training. Strategically plans course offerings and outreach events, evaluates curriculum and writes/edits course descriptions. Develops and delivers classes and events in conjunction with Center staff. Works with staff to identify and contact community resources, and other related providers and assist with collecting and documenting data as required, including updating a database. Conducts targeted community outreach and educational training on a weekly basis. Programs will encompass day, evening and weekend classes/outreach events so flexibility and the ability to travel to these work events in a personal vehicle is required. Maintains and updates database on community resources and contacts. Collects and documents data as required. Assists in compiling statistical data as needed. Creates and maintains strong, ongoing working relationships and rapport with partner community organizations, community members, service organizations, government offices, and related providers to expand referral resources. Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.
