We are seeking an Associate Director to lead the Innovation in Data Center as well as connectivity and storage solutions for enterprise data center infrastructures. You will drive Data Center footprints, connectivity and storage design and integration, including various cloud and hybrid solutions. You will also lead strategies and operations supporting areas of Data Center Facilities, Cloud-based infrastructures, storage and network platforms, as well as working with many other teams on design, deployment, and automation for data center and connectivity-based infrastructures.

Responsibilities Recruit and build multiple teams

Lead teams responsible for launching new capabilities across a larger area of product responsibility

Partner with key stakeholders to provide strategic direction for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational and portfolio goals

Work independently on organizational objectives

Lead Managers or Senior Managers within their organization who lead sub-teams

Accountable to teams, peers, and stakeholders for product-focused outcomes and objectives

Where needed, performs code and architecture reviews

Focusing on the future for their team identifies and develops emerging leaders

Focusing on driving the strategy for their product area, sets goals for multiple teams, and tracks to progress against them. Identifies and addresses key talent, execution, and skill gaps through hiring, training, and organizational changes

Operational support and escalation

Minimum Qualifications 6 or more years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience

2 or more years of experience managing and leading engineering teams

Experience managing information technology partner and vendor relationships to achieve business outcomes

Experience managing physical data center operations

Experience managing 3rd party vendor co-lo data centers

Experience with MPLS, Internet and cloud networks and service providers

Experience and technical knowledge of enterprise storage solutions

Experience and technical knowledge of enterprise server systems

Experience leading large installation and upgrade projects

Experience delivering complex projects with multiple peer leaders and stakeholders

Experience presenting and explaining complex technical concepts to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications 9 or more years of relevant professional experience

Experience leading automation efforts with regards to data center, storage, and network connectivity service

Experience leading teams with an agile methodology framework

Experience in a global enterprise

Experience managing different types of enterprise storage in the pedabytes

Experience managing networks with more than 2000 devices
