Part-Time Compliance Coordinator
ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI)
, the leading online training provider in the early child care industry is currently seeking a Compliance Coordinator
at our headquarters location in Duluth, GA. CCEI is committed to providing innovative programs and services that will allow early childhood professionals to get the training and professional development they need to perform their responsibilities.
The Compliance Coordinator supports this commitment by executing CCEI compliance related functions and policies including ensuring compliance with accreditation, licensing and state authorization standards. This position reports to CCEI’s Director of Operations.
In this role, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Execute and maintain compliance related tasks, procedures and policies including reporting of statistical data on graduation and retention rates
Graduation audits, compilation of graduation packets, and submission of graduate reports to appropriate entities
Manage and execute the student record keeping, compliance processes and scheduled compliance audits as dictated by policy
Manage and execute the observer approval process as dictated by policy
Review and approval or denial of reinstatement and extension requests
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
Associate or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (or a related field) is preferred but the equivalent of experience will be considered
A minimum of two (2) years prior record keeping or compliance experience, preferably in an educational environment or a combination of education and experience
High attention to detail, the ability to manage and execute upon multiple projects with minimal supervision and the ability to exercise appropriate independent judgment
Strong time management, organization, analytic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Understanding of and ability to execute confidentiality across all levels of communication. Knowledge of FERPA and HIPPA laws are a strong plus
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Confident working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and a proficiency in learning new technology including internet based applications is required
