What would your work schedule look like?

Variable hours

Operational Hours Monday - Friday 6:00am - 8:00pm

How much could you make in this position?

Compensation dependent on number of clients

What qualifications are needed?

Nationally recognized personal training certification: ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE, etc.

Current First Aid, CPR, AED certifications from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, in-person skills component required

2 years of experience as a personal trainer

What would be your responsibilities?

Demonstrate professionalism and reliability

Engage with members on the fitness center floor and provide corrective techniques.

Provide superior customer service with excellent verbal communication skills

Give a thorough assessment of the client’s fitness level

Establish personal goals and objectives for the client

Plan and deliver a program appropriate to the goals and objectives of the client

Discuss the program with the client to assure that the program is meeting his/her basic goals and objectives

Assess and reassess client's needs at each session

Maintain a record of each client's progress

Be alert to unsafe practices or conditions in the exercise facility.

What skills are required?

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of exercise physiology and kinesiology

Ability to motivate and inspire clients

Personable; positive attitude, motivational, knowledgeable
