Description

The Endpoint Protection Engineer 2 leads and participates in the development of enterprise-level Endpoint Protection security strategies. The Endpoint Protection Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Endpoint Protection Engineer 2 Engineer 2 ensures endpoint protection controls by designing, installing, configuring and administering network infrastructure and security systems. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

3 years experience working with Endpoint Protection controls by designing, installing, configuring and administering purpose-built security technologies designed to prevent attack/loss of data and ensure compliance

Understanding of department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field

Cyber Security Certification

Experience working with the following types of endpoint solutions is highly preferred:

EDR, Data Classification, DLP, Hard-Disk Encryption.

Experience with multiple operating systems, platforms and versions, i.e. Windows/Linux/Mac Workstation and Server
