Compliance Business Partner

Duties: Act as a compliance subject matter expert for assigned business units, developing both a comprehensive understanding of business activities and the applicable policy and procedure framework. Mortgage industry experience with a strong background in compliance or risk. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable consumer protection laws, financial industry regulations, and GSE guidelines. Lead assigned business units in their response to changes in applicable Federal consumer financial laws, investor guidelines, client requirements, and market conditions. Manage efforts within assigned business units to remediate compliance issues identified by customers, employees, clients, auditors, and regulators. Oversee the business units’ policies, procedures, and job aids in accordance with Board-approved policy and procedure framework. Lead self-assessments to ensure compliance with policy and procedure framework. Participate in the review of new products and services affecting assigned business units. Track and report to Board and management on all compliance issues, trending, and remediation efforts. Present to the Board, shareholders, regulators, and clients on matters that relate to compliance management system. Recommend changes to training program to ensure training is timely and tailored to the needs of assigned business units.
