The Head of Loyalty at Sprouts is a key thought leader in the loyalty and personalization space for the organization. The individual will be critical in both the development of Sprouts\u2019 loyalty strategy and in driving the tactics to increase customer engagement. The individual will need to collaborate internally and with external partners to drive programs and tactics. The primary objective for the Head of Loyalty is to increase customer lifetime value by driving incremental trips and spend across all Sprouts channels.
Drive long-term growth for Sprouts by developing loyalty and customer value creation strategies across Sprouts channels (app, ecommerce, stores, etc.)
Create and Deploy Sprouts\u2019 first loyalty strategy and program.
Define Sprouts strategy across our portfolio - - inclusive of offers, experiences, rewards, and services \u2013 to deliver a differentiated and personalized experience for our target customers.
Build and develop a highly collaborative and high-performing team that drives results and tests/learns quickly.
Build partnerships across the organization \u2013 stores, ecommerce, marketing, customer analytics, etc. \u2013 to drive unified marketing programs to meet annual goals across the business.
Develop short-term tests and quick wins to drive value, build momentum and deliver revenue to Sprouts.
Partner with Sprouts shopper marketing to define a vendor participation model as part of our loyalty ecosystem and develop personalized offers and content.
Manage and deliver a loyalty budget \u2013 with dedicated marketing expenses, promotion expense, and sales/margin targets.
Oversee the development and execution of loyalty campaigns and offers, including customer segmentation, messaging, and communication.
Identify and execute innovative approaches to target customer segments, marketing plans and messaging.
Partner with customer analytics team to create, track, analyze and manage programs/tests.
Establish and continually evaluate key loyalty program metrics and identify opportunities that drive higher engagement ensuring optimization of marketing spend and driving continuous improvement by campaign, lifecycle stage or customer segment.
In partnership with customer analytics team, leverage data and insights to evolve customer retention campaigns, communications, and programs.
Develop and manage the weekly/monthly/annual loyalty program calendar.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements
8-10 years of experience in Loyalty & Segmentation Strategy.
Experience with direct-to-consumer business.
Previous experience managing and developing a CRM / loyalty team.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to tell stories with data and highlight actionable insights.
Experience / Knowledge with CRM/loyalty marketing technology ideally with programmatic personalization at scale.
Strong results orientation with a test/learn mentality.
Strong collaborator that has proven success in building highly functional cross functional relationships across the business and with outside partners.
Exceptional organizational, planning, and project/program management skills with strong attention to detail.
Customer focused with a passion for well-being and healthy living.
