The candidate is responsible for legal advice to the various Sanford affiliates. Identifies and analyzes legal issues, drafting key documents, presenting clear recommendations, and assuring legal compliance. Handle preparation of immigration cases including a variety of temporary work visas and green cards for Sanford's nurses and clinicians, as well as researching and advising on immigration matters for the organization. Graduate of an American Bar Association accredited law school with licensure to practice law in South Dakota, North Dakota or Minnesota are required. Must have 2+ years practice experience. Immigration practice with experience in the healthcare industry is preferred. Must be admitted, or eligible for admission to the state bar depending on location and area of accountability, and additional state(s) when applicable.
