Job description

We are seeking an energetic, detail oriented real estate paralegal to become part of our team! You will be responsible for processing your own files and supporting our attorneys.

Responsibilities:

• Open, process, and close residential and commercial real estate transactions
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
• Review title commitments and help research and resolve title issues
• Ensure compliance with state and federal title and banking regulations
• Record and store client information

Qualifications:

• At least three (3) years’ experience as a real estate paralegal in connection with commercial and residential transactions
• Experience in drafting conveyance documents and other typical real estate closing documents such as affidavits
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Personable and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail oriented
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and multi-line phone systems
• Working knowledge of Softpro and PracticeMaster is helpful but not required
• Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is a plus
