Senior Counsel - Contracting

The candidate will review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of (i) commercial agreements with a principle focus on technology, including master services agreements, software licensing agreements, software and application development agreements, SaaS/cloud services agreements and (ii) customer agreement provisions related to technology, cybersecurity and intellectual property. Advise on legal issues related to cloud computing, outsourcing and information security across the full technology lifecycle, from procurement, development, and implementation/deployment for both (i) enterprise technology and (ii) core products offered and developed by lines of business. Engage with leaders within GTO, U.S. Business, Procurement and businesses in the regions about legal issues involved with the acquisition and implementation of new technology. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is required. Should have 6+ years of experience at a major law firm and/or in-house legal department working on technology issues, technology transactions or advising, reflecting a record of accomplishment. Should preferably have experience in any of the following areas: insurance and/or other regulated financial services, navigating multinational organizations and international laws and regulations, or intellectual property. Should be admitted to a state bar and eligible to be appointed as in-house counsel in New Yorker appropriate) Bar.
