The candidate will provide assistance to the assigned team(s) in the filing of immigration case work and may also be required to ‘float’ among teams, providing temporary support and coverage. Conduct legal research and assists with the preparation of written projects for immigration cases. Assist with the maintenance of case work quality and consistency on the assigned team(s). Evaluate cases and assist in providing case strategies and/or solutions to issues. Guide client and employees through processes. May liaise with other attorneys or departments in the firm on projects. Conduct comprehensive review of filings. Perform legal research and prepare legal memoranda and/or legal briefs. Analyze facts, patterns and legal issues to provide sound legal advice. Prepare immigration-based filings for case management. Continue to grow as a professional through continued interaction with other team members. Operate at all times with the utmost integrity and loyalty to the team. Go above and beyond the norm to serve clients and team members. Contribute to the firm as a whole. Juris Doctor degree is required. Experience working as an immigration attorney is preferred. State bar licensure is required.
