Program Manager - The Innovate Fund
The candidate will be responsible for: Manage TIF’s NMTC program, including building project pipeline, and monitoring funded projects. Assess the viability of borrowers and projects and guides potential borrowers through the application process. Put together and present project funding proposals to the advisory and governing boards for approval. Works with the borrower and external parties through loan commitment terms and loan closing. Responsible for TIF’s external relationships, including management of borrowers, CDFI Fund, NMTC Coalition, and federal legislative representatives. Responsible for community engagement; Represent TIF to local communities (mayors and city councils, community organizations, and other like-minded organizations). Oversee operations including budget, marketing, insurance and bank accounts, etc. Travel: 50%, primarily four-state service area. Should have 5-10 years’ of experience in community development finance. Must have experience in originating and structuring loans for NMTC or other tax credit funded projects. Background in loan origination helpful. Office management experience, including finance, budgeting, marketing, bank account management, signature authority approvals, etc. Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
