The candidate must have 2-3 years of experience. Should have legal experience with qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and nonqualified plans. Should preferably also have experience with advising on compensation and benefits issues in corporate transactions, including ESOP transactions. Large law firm benefits experience is preferred. Should have excellent research and writing skills, superior academics from a top law school, the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently. Must be admitted to practice in CA.
