Junior Software Engineer

This position will be responsible for maintaining a variety of applications utilized by our partners to do business with LendingTree.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with partners.

Work closely with internal teams, including product and engineers, to solve technical issues for partners.

Implement and improve integrations with partners.

Maintain and update existing internal solutions, with custom front-end and back-end services that fulfill business requirements.

Qualifications

S. in Computer Science or closely related bachelors’ degree.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Need to be able to explain sophisticated concepts.

A natural problem solver and an active self-motivated learner.

Phenomenal teammate who takes ownership of (and pride in) your work.

Know when to ask for help when hurdles or roadblocks prevent decisions from being made

Ability to complete basic tasks with little to no oversight, and intermediate tasks with broad support from manager or peers.

Possess basic knowledge of core computer science concepts.

Ability to articulate point of view and use available tools and data to back it up.

Familiarity with C#, .NET Core, one of JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React/Vue.js), SQL, dependency injection, web services, agile methodology.
