Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Clinical Informatics Coordinator, the Clinical Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing support for various applications and clinical systems used throughout the facility. Participates in providing the required support necessary to implement, optimize and maintain the facility’s technological applications. Works collaboratively with members of the Clinical Informatics team and IT in such a way to enable timely, positive user experiences and adoption. Works flexible hours as needed to cover support and downtime. This position may require on-call coverage.
Essential Duties:
Participates in providing the required support necessary to implement, optimize and maintain the facility’s technological applications.
Actively participates in the implementation and upgrading of clinical applications.
Provides end-user support and training on Meditech and various applications.
Troubleshoots, reports and validates end-user reported problems.
Coordinates and tracks non-employee access.
Responsible for providing set-up, troubleshooting and support of Find It/Capture It application.
Responsible for managing CenTrak badges and database.
Responsible for managing Vocera database.
Responsible for maintaining eHealth information in Meditech.
Responsible for monitoring various reports and providing follow-up (i.e., incorrect provider mnemonics, diet and allergy rejections).','!*!License/Certification:

Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year healthcare experience required.
Meditech Magic experience preferred.
Must be computer literate, and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint (successful completion of test required).
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of Meditech within 60 days of hire and with Patient Keeper within 6 months of hire.
Education:
Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience which would demonstrate attainment of the requisite knowledge/abilities sufficient to perform the essential function of the position may be substituted for the education requirement.','We’re an equal opportunity employer.
