Business Development, Executive, Telecom
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, nurturing and WINNING new business opportunities that align with Auxillium’s culture, core competencies and business goals. This will require understanding of industries and markets served, B2B sales pipeline management and capabilities / competencies that Auxillium can successfully provide.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
Follow all employee guidelines, policies, rules and management direction.
Lead all business development opportunities within industries such as Energy, Telecommunications, Wireless Internet Service Providers and well seeded High Technology Start Ups with the goal of developing profitable and sustainable business relationships.
Define and successfully execute a business development plan that EXCEEDES the sales goals and targets of the organization.
Prime, sustain and grow business development pipeline(s) by engaging with strategic prospects and involving internal stakeholders as required.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the business and technical needs of existing customers, as well as prospects in targeted industries.
Actively consult with the appropriate internal stakeholders on related business trends, opportunities and threats with the objective of developing new services and increasing sales revenue.
Successfully communicate and present applicable solutions to potential customers and their executive teams.
Assertively participate and lead in developing pricing for services, overcoming internal objections and creating an understanding of the scope of work required for potential new business.
Work closely with internal teams to evaluate the status of existing customer relationships regarding team performance in exceeding expectations and earning customer loyalty.
Identify and attend applicable industry conferences, functions and trade shows.
Provide reliable forecasting and information on sales development activities via Auxillium’s CRM system.
Travel as required to develop business and strategic accounts.
Acquire, develop and lead the sales and marketing talent needed to exceed sales goals and overcome market pressures.
