Professional Talent Acquisition Manager
The candidate coordinates and conducts search functions to fill business professional openings firm-wide. Screens resume, collaborates with internal stakeholders, interviews, administers pre-employment screening, makes recommendations to hire, and prepares offers. Determines and implements recruiting best practices. Provides guidance to stakeholders to help them interview and hire the best talent and ensure achievement of staffing goals. Collaborates with the Chief Diversity Officer and Chief Talent Officer to ensure that Stradley’s diversity goals with respect to recruitment and retention are achieved and that diversity as a firm value continues to be institutionalized across all offices. Maintains vendor relationships and negotiates contracts with employment agencies on behalf of the firm. Collaborates with members of administrative departments to design and deliver effective onboarding for new hires. Uses Applicant Tracking System to manage candidates throughout the recruitment and hiring process and develops metrics to report on recruiting trends. Assumes other responsibilities as dictated by the needs of the firm. Bachelor’s degree required. Should have 5 years of recruiting experience within a professional services environment; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Comprehensive knowledge of HR disciplines: recruitment, employment law, compensation, job design, and career development and training. Should be proven ability to work effectively with and through employees without having managerial authority. Should have experience utilizing social media and mining resumes through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc; highly professional demeanor, with an emphasis on discretion, responsiveness, and attention to detail; exceptional written and oral communication and creative problem-solving skills; ability to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; excellent technical skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to adapt to new software. Experience with viRecruit or viDesktop applications is a plus.
