Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid - 2 days in-office)

A well-established law firm, renowned for its expertise in civil litigation and insurance defense, is seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney. The role involves providing legal counsel and support to senior attorneys, assisting with legal research, drafting documents, and representing clients in hearings and depositions. Duties:

• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, briefs, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and client counsel.
• Attend legal proceedings including hearings and depositions.
• Advise clients on legal solutions, manage case strategies, and negotiate settlements on their behalf.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain detailed client files and case records for accurate and up-to-date information sharing across the team.
• Manage billing goals and administrative tasks related to client cases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Active Florida Bar Admission.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Must meet billing requirements set by the firm.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• Legal research and writing proficiency.
• Contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
• Case management and client communication.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Location:

• Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid, with in-office attendance required twice a week).
