Description

The Broker Relationship Manager - Primary Care Organization develops and maintains relationships with brokers of small and medium-sized accounts in support of clinical care delivery. The Broker Relationship Manager works assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Broker Relationship Manager focuses on aligning prospective patients with the value-based care model offered through our Primary Care Organization. Meets targets through cultivation of new client relationships and development of productive relationships with existing clients. Prepares presentations, contracts, and proposals subject to review by supervisor. May participate in special projects/programs as assigned, such as training or communication sessions within or outside of the organization. Maximizes patient growth through clear understanding of the organization's products and/or services. Locates, evaluates, and recruits potential channel partners, including systems integrators, value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, dealers, or retailers. Supports partners throughout the patient growth process in all patient-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, promotions, and training to achieve growth targets. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in the Medicare industry with a focus on management/leadership

Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills  

Ability to utilize technology tools and build relationships with communities and medical providers.

High level of self-motivation and the ability to accomplish goals independently

Prior sales experience

Must be comfortable presenting to groups of agents

Strong account management skills

Great with laptop computers, cell phones and the ability to navigate mobile apps. This also includes knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences 

The work style for this role will be: 33% in clinic; 33% in the community; 33% at home.

This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits 

Must reside in the local territory within the Atlanta area

Additional Information

After offer acceptance you must be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification (paid for by Humana) prior to your start date

If candidate has prior experience as licensed agent, it might represent a conflict of interest; therefore, he/she could be asked to relinquish existing book of business and cannot provide any services as an insurance agent.

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
