Saint Charles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 2 years of experience. The candidate will join a labor and employment law firm. The candidate will respond to federal and state administrative agency charges and investigations. Will be preparing pleadings, motions, briefs, etc. Research nuanced issues arising under federal and state laws. Issuing and responding to discovery, document/personnel file requests. Preparing and updating/revising employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies. Should have a working knowledge of state and federal court and administrative agency practice and procedure. Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, position statements, etc., highly desirable, preferably in employment litigation and related agency matters before the EEOC, NLRB, DOL, and similar state agencies. Must be Licensed and in good standing to practice law either in Minnesota, Iowa, or Illinois (more than one of these states and/or Wisconsin, a plus).
