Research Assistant

The candidate will assist Dean Diaz 80 hours per semester by researching topics assigned as well as completing various writing assignments. Assist professor in scholarly work the professor deems appropriate by: Researching topics assigned using Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw and any other appropriate information. Completing various writing assignments as assigned. Completing additional research requests as assigned. Perform edits and cite checks on the professor's articles. Excellent analytical and research skills required Must have specialized knowledge of Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw information systems. Must have successfully completed the first year of Law School and be in good academic standing
