This role will serve as Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Real Estate Closing Services in the Real Estate Investment (REI) division of Pacific Life. Reporting to the Vice President of Real Estate Closing Services, the AVP will provide legal support in the structuring, negotiation, documentation and closing of complex secured real estate finance transactions, including structuring, drafting and negotiating loan commitments, overseeing closing managers and outside counsel in reviewing due diligence and negotiating loan documents, strategically mitigating transactional risks and finding innovative solutions to closing hurdles, keeping abreast of latest legal developments in order to update legal forms and closing processes, and providing expert counsel to other members of REI as needed.
