Our ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Marketing web development group is looking for Junior Web developer with good knowledge and ability to communicate effectively understanding problems and explain their solution. The position is well-suited for an organized individual who can meet deadlines, follow written procedures, and collaborate for improvements and be a team player. The successful candidate will develop Java web applications and programs with an emphasis on our Customer Relationship Management and Customer Portals front end.

You will be responsible for:

Designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low latency, required for mission-critical systems.

Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.

Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code.

Conducting software analysis, programming, and testing

Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.

Analyzing user requirements to inform application design.

Ensuring designs comply with specifications.

Aligning application design with business goals

Transform requirements into prerequisite and identify production and non-production application issues.

Preparing and producing releases of software components

You are someone who has:

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Mathematics

2 years of experience as an application developer

2 years of experience in Java technologies (Java Servlets, JSP, J2EE, EJB). Preferably Java 8 or more.

Good knowledge of XML, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and SQL

Exposure JSON and AJAX fundamentals

Nice to Have:

Exposure to VueJS and/or Angular a plus

Experience with Amazon Web Services or any other Cloud framework is a plus.

Experience with Linux (including shell programming) a plus

Oracle Java Programmer Certification a plus
