Job Summary
Provide comprehensive administrative support to Managing Directors of Comcast Ventures.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
Screen telephone calls, visitors, letters, and answer routine questions directed to leaders.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, and presentations. Prepare for corresponding equipment, conference facilities, and/or meals.
Maintain complex and shifting calendar for meetings and conference calls with executives, external parties, and other stakeholders. Use initiative to schedule appointments and meetings based on personal knowledge of workload and priorities.
Liaise with other administrative staff to ensure seamless support for management team.
Ensure the accurate retention and availability of records by establishing and maintaining filing system, both manual and electronic, based on guidelines set by the Legal Hold and Records Retention Policies.
Assist with composing, typing, and editing documents, presentations and other written materials that are highly confidential.
Arrange travel itineraries, including air, hotel, and car.
Prepare Travel & Entertainment Reports.
Monitor, track, and process various departmental expense items.
Maintain necessary office supplies and ensure various equipment is properly configured, installed, and maintained.
Manage incoming and outbound mail and express deliveries
Assist with after hour special events, as needed.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Education Level: High School degree, Bachelors degree preferred.
1 – 3 years related experience in an administrative function.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent Comcast in a positive, professional manner.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear, professional and pleasant manner.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize in a highly effective manner.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Able to occasionally work evenings to support group events, managing variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Work with high level of professionalism, uses good judgment and conducts business with high sense of urgency.
Ability to handle frequent interruptions and changes in priorities.
Strong team player and be willing to assist department in various tasks.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Above average proficiency of personal computers and software applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Knowledge of general office procedures.
